Homer William 'Bill' Fitzgerald
August 30, 1924 ~ July 27, 2015


Homer William 'Bill' Fitzgerald, of Claremore, passed away July 27, 2015 in Claremore, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years. Bill was born August 30, 1924 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.

He grew up in Pauls Valley. He left and moved to Allen for a while then to Euless, Texas where he made his home for many years. For the past 5 years his home has been in Claremore.

Bill served in the U. S. Army and is a Veteran of World War II. He worked as an Explorer Pipeliner.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Effie Fitzgerald; wife, Juanita [Biles] Fitzgerald; wife, Maxine [Martin] Fitzgerald; stepchildren, Ray Martin, Rita Martin and Dale Martin; and his brother, J. A. 'Jack' Fitzgerald.

Bill is survived by his daughter and her husband, Marya and Jerry D. Gray of Bartlesville; two grandchildren and one great grandchild; his sister, Louise Bolles of Duncan; and nieces, Patty and Cindy.
