© Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma February 2021 Alvin Donald Davis September 20, 1928 ~ February 7, 2021 Alvin Donald Davis, of Pauls Valley, passed away February 7, 2021 in Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 92 years. Alvin was born September 20, 1928 in Brinkman, Oklahoma to William M. Davis and Fay Davis. Following his high school education he enlisted in the United State Army. He served until he retired in May of 1967. He earned the rank of Staff Sargent E6 and was awarded the among his awards and medals he earned the Purple Heart. He and Miammia Gage were married in Pauls Valley on March 16, 1986. Moving from Sulphur, Oklahoma, Pauls Valley has been his home since 1986 and was affiliated with the Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by bothers, Otho Lee Davis, W.J. Bill Davis, and Willis Junior Davis; and sisters, Marveline Schreiner, Ozella Crawford, Kathleen Carpenter, Laura Alice Moses and Nancy Womack. Surviving family include his wife, Miammia J. Davis, 5 children, Don Brown of Pauls Valley; J.D. Taliferro of Noble; Keith Taliferro of Norman; Sherry Amos of Moore; and Terrie Booker of Friendswood, Tx.; 1 brother, Elmer Davis of Washington, Ok.; 16 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. Those who attend the viewing and graveside services are requested to maintain social distancing and please wear a mask. Due to the weather conditions, funeral services will be held in the Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Mt.
