© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma March 1, 2014 Vivian "Marie" [Steward] Crouch January 9, 1923 ~ March 1, 2014 Vivian 'Marie' Crouch, of Paoli, passed away March 1, 2014 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years. Marie was born January 9, 1923 in Pikes Peak, Oklahoma to Ivy L. 'Buddy' Steward and Corrie A. [Barker] Steward. Marie grew up in the Pauls Valley and Paoli area; attended Paoli Schools and is a graduate of the Paoli High School. She was married to V. M. Crouch. For a time they moved to Arkansas. After the death of her husband she returned to the Paoli area and has made her home there for the past 20 or so years. She was a Nursing Assistant working at the Garvin County Health Department until her retirement. She was affiliated with the Baptist Church. Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy L. "Buddy" and Corrie Steward; her husband, V. M. Crouch; a son, Dwight S. Brown and daughter, Brenda K. Lee; a great-grandson, Dakota Lane Deaver; as well as all her brothers and sisters, Odell Steward, Mildred Gross, Marcheta Whitfield and June Steward. Surviving family include her children, Winfred Brown and his wife, Karen, of Belford, New Jersey; Sondra Seppe and her husband, Frank, of Las Vega, Nevada; Steve Brown and Debbie Wadley of Paoli; her stepchildren, Martha Snider and Doyle Crouch of Foreman, Arkansas; 12 grandchildren, numerous great grand and great-great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews and many friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor John Allen and a Eulogy will be given by a niece, Donna Dickerson. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
