© Wilson-Little Funeral Home Purcell, Oklahoma September 2023 September 6, 1930 ~ September 1, 2023 Gaye Imogene Clagg age 92, passed away on September 1, 2023 in Lexington, OK. Gaye Imogene Boone was born to Lester Boone and Pearlean Boone [Dabney] on September 6, 1930 in Anadarko, OK. She was the third of eight children and grew up a true farm girl in the Anadarko area, near the town of Washita. Gaye attended Washita High School and graduated with the Indian class of 1948. She earned college credit after high school and put it to good use working for the U.S. Department of Agriculture as a program clerk. Throughout her career she worked in USDA offices in Caddo Co., Garvin Co., and McClain Co. She also worked for 10 years at the Pauls Valley National Bank. She settled in the Payne area in 1989 and has called this area home ever since. She was a beloved mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Gaye was preceded in death by her husbands, Bill Bramlett, Harold Fredrickson, and Philip Clagg. Her siblings Curby Boone, Lester Boone, Wallace Boone, Jackie Boone, Mary Franklin, and Margie Fredrickson. Her step children Walter Fredrickson, Jimmy Fredrickson, and David Fredrickson. And one grandson, Joey Fredrickson. She is survived by her children Daniel Bramlett of Wynnewood, OK and Brenda Garrett of Houston, TX, and step children Phillis Davis of Yukon, Larry Clagg and wife Mary of Blanchard, Weeta Easton and husband Alvin of Moore, Gary Clagg and wife Lana of Lexington, and Barry Clagg and wife Sue of Lindsay. She also leaves behind one sister, Pearlean Woods of Apache, and numerous grandchildren. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday September 15, 2023 at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Pauls Valley, OK |
