© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma March 24, 2011 James Price "Jack" Cantwell January 1, 1932 ~ March 24, 2011 James Price Cantwell, of Oklahoma City was born January 1, 1932 in Elmore City, Oklahoma to David Henry Cantwell and Nancy Elizabeth Jones Cantwell. He passed away March 24, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years. James was married to Christine Owens in Gainesville, Texas on July 27, 1951. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Era James worked 40 years for Baker Hughes. He was a member of Regency Park Baptist Church in Moore. He enjoyed watching football and playing golf with his brothers. James loved spending time with his family and especially his two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, David & Nancy Cantwell; brother, Harold Cantwell and sister, Darlene Cantwell. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital in his memory. Surviving family include his wife of over 59 years, Christine of the home in Oklahoma City; son, Steve Cantwell of Oklahoma City; daughter and son in law, Julie & Russell Nelson of Midlothian, Texas; 2 granddaughters, Rachel Nelson & Erin Nelson; 2 brothers, Travis Cantwell of Corpus Christi, Texas and Larry Cantwell of Sanger, Texas; and sister, Nancy Burks Hawk of Pauls Valley. Memorial services will be held Monday, March 28, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Keith Jacobs. Services for cremation and professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. A private inurnment will be at a later date. |
