© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma November 6, 2010 Obie Lee Campbell June 21, 1931 ~ November 6, 2010 Obie Lee Campbell, of Pauls Valley, passed away November 6, 2010 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 79 years. He was born June 21, 1931 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Elbert and Celia [Wad] Campbell. He grew up in the Pauls Valley area and attended Pauls Valley schools. Later he began his business as a trucker and as a rancher. Obie was married to Nancy Spivey in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma on July 14, 1951; they were blessed with three children. The Pauls Valley area has been his home all of his life. Obie was a long time member and a Deacon of the Trinity Baptist Church of Pauls Valley. Obie was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Celia Campbell; brothers, Jimmy and Elton Campbell and sister, Betty Campbell. Surviving family include his wife of 59 years, Nancy of the home; three children, Jerry and Sandy Campbell; Ricky and Cindy Campbell; and Kim and Travis Thompson, all of Pauls Valley; nine grandchildren, Anissa Riggs of Iuka, Kansas, Dusty & Kim Campbell of Hutchinson, Kansas, Jared Campbell of Wynnewood, Anje Campbell of Norman, Taner & Cole Campbell of Pauls Valley, Mady, Tyler and Lexy Thompson of Pauls Valley; four great grandchildren; three sisters in law, Betty Spivey of Pauls Valley; Pauline Ince of Lindsay; and June Campbell of California. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Bro. Tim Bowen. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Interment and professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
