© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma June 12, 2015 Helen "Lorene" [Davis] Burrows July 23, 1928 ~ June 12, 2015 Helen 'Lorene' Burrows, of Harrah, passed away June 12, 2015 in Harrah, Oklahoma at the age of 86 years. Lorene was born July 23, 1928 in Mazie, Oklahoma to Ivan Lee and Addie Alberta [Grant] Davis. Lorene was raised in Oklahoma; when she was 10 she moved with her family to California. She was married to James Roland Burrows in Corcoran, California on April 12, 1952. In 1980 she returned to make Oklahoma her home. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Donald Wayne Burrows; and one brother, Raymond Davis. Surviving family include her children, Lavonne Cookson and her husband, Nathan, of Humble, Texas; Bobbie Romans and her husband, Don, of Winter Park, Florida; and Richard Burrows and his wife, Kerry, of Harrah; 5 grandchildren, Nathena Lewis, Andrew Cookson, Corey Cookson, Delaney Burrows and Dylan Burrows; seven great great grandchildren, Travis Lewis, Lezley Cookson, Trever Cookson, Trinity Cookson, Elijah Cookson, Ayden Cookson, and Sarah Lorene Cookson; 2 brothers, Floyd Davis and Earl Davis; and 2 sisters, Virginia Beck and Verlin Coventon. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 15, 2015 at 10:00 am at Stufflebean-Coffey Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Shauna Becker. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
