© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma December 27, 2011 Jimmy Dale Brown August 4, 1955 ~ December 27, 2011 Jimmy Dale Brown, of Pauls Valley, was born August 4, 1955 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Clarence and Oletha [Bonner] Brown. He passed away December 27, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years. He lived in Oklahoma City while attending Capitol Hill High School and then S. Oklahoma City Jr. College. Jimmy served as a corpsman in the U. S. Navy during the Viet Nam era. Jimmy was married to Arlena Linker in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 15, 2000 and had lived in Pauls Valley for the past several years. Jimmy was an avid O U Sooner fan and loved hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing. He was a very gentle Christian man who will be missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Oletha Brown and his daughter, Heather Brown. Surviving family include his wife, Arlena, of the home; 6 children, Kristie Brown, Kassey Brown, and Glenna Norman, all of the home; Tricia Gorden and her husband, Kevin, of Pauls Valley; Kendie Rodriguez and her husband, Alex, of Davis; and Kerry Brown, of Paoli; 1 brother, John Brown and his wife, Twyla, of Oklahoma City; 1 sister, LaVonne Crahan and her husband, Bob, of Oklahoma City; 1 brother in law, Frank Linker and his wife, Joy, of Arkansas; 10 grandchildren, Matt, Marissa, Kenzie, Faylee, Jimmy, Breana, Sofie, Laynie, Kobie and Kaleb; as well as 1 niece, Ashley & Jonathan Ingram; 2 nephews, Justin Brown and Jarrod Mizell; 1 great nephew, Hunter Brown; 3 great nieces, Zoey, Amya and Kinsley including numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Rev. Jim Dehart. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Interment and professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
