Delora [Vaughn] Beck
August 25, 1922 ~ February 3, 2013


Delora Beck, of Pauls Valley, passed away February 3, 2013 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 90 years.

She was born August 25, 1922 in Mangum, Oklahoma to Hugh and Lillie Vaughn. On February 19, 1943 Delora Vaughn and Kenneth Beck were married in Vici, Oklahoma. Oklahoma City was their home and for many years she lived in Pauls Valley. She was a very kind-hearted person; willing to help anyone in any way and never met a stranger. Delora loved to read books, and has read many, but most of all she loved reading her Bible.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Lillie Vaughn; her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Patricia Ann Burke; and a brother, J. P. Vaughn.

Surviving family include her son and his wife, William and Patty Beck of Wynnewood; one granddaughter, Kristen Beck; one great-grandson, Peyton; two sisters, Dorothy Snow of Oklahoma City; and Gwendolyn Long of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; one brother, Laverne Vaughn of Oklahoma City; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery officiated by Dr. Joe Elam. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Interment and professional services are under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
