Services for John Wesley Law, 75, Stratford, are set for 2 p.m. Thursday in the Free Will Baptist Church here, with the Rev. Claude Freeman conducting rites.

Mr. Law died Tuesday in an Ada hospital.

He was born July 21, 1899 in Dolberg and lived in the Chism and Galey communities all his life.

He was employed by the State Highway Department for many years and was a member of the Gaar Corner Free Will Baptist Church. On August 31, 1919, he and Elma Cravatt were married in Chism.

Survivors include his wife, Elma, of the home; one daughter, Winona Mae McCurtain, Oakley, California; four sons, J.C. Law, Antioch, California, LaDon Wesley Law, San Pablo, California, John Winfield, and Max Lynn Law, both of Stratford; 11 grandchildren and 17 greatgrandchildren. Burial will be in McGee Cemetery.

Pickard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
