© Winans Funeral Home Maysville Oklahoma May 2013 October 4, 1952 ~ May 4, 2013 Jessie Gene Hogan of Lindsay passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 in Norman, OK at the age of 60 years. He was born on October 4, 1952 in Monahans, Texas to Jessie Hogan and Lois Virginia Avis [Millard] Hogan. Jessie grew up in Texas. He worked as a mechanic, plumber, and hauling post wood. In his younger years he enjoyed riding motorcycles. Jessie loved to tinker with motors, building race cars and racing them. He placed first in a race even after the wheel fell off. He enjoyed fishing and chasing the kids with snakes. Jessie will be greatly missed by his family and friends. His survivors include his sons: Paul Hogan of Foster and Chris Hogan of Lindsay. Daughters: Teresa Pruett of Foster and Samantha Hogan of Broken Bow. Brother: Earnie Sanders, Jack Nichols, Gilligan Sewell. Sisters: Virginia Gonzales Sanders, Jodie Juarez Sanders, Margie Lynch Sanders, Molly Redman, Darlene Bullard, Mechelle Rimer, Roberta Stillwell. Step-brothers: Richard Sanders, Mark Sanders, Michael Sanders. 8 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Jessie was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Jessie Hogan; a son, Kevin Hogan; and siblings, James Sanders, Mary Sanders Overhoff, Johnny Sanders, and Lonnie Sewell. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, May 6, 2013 at Maysville Cemetery with Rev. John Griffith officiating.
