Marjorie Magdeline [Keith] Haddix
December 13, 1920 ~ January 23, 2014


Marjorie Magdeline Haddix of Maysville was born on December 13, 1920 in Antioch, Oklahoma to Charles and Rachel Knight Keith. She passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 in the Norman Regional Hospital at the age of 93 years.

Mrs. Haddix had lived all of her life in the Garvin county area.

She attended and graduated from Mayville schools.

She attended the Methodist church.

Marjorie Keith married Earl Haddix on May 9, 1952 in Gainesville, Texas.

She worked at McCaskill Nursing Home as a medication nurse's aide.

Marjorie enjoyed reading, cooking, and sewing.

She was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors are her son, Earl Haddix of Maysville, Oklahoma and sister, Joan Stock of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl in 1987; her daughter, Jo Frances Haddix in 2008; her brother, Charles Keith; and her sister, Katherine Jarman.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 27, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Winans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Gamble officiating.

Burial will be in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville Oklahoma.

Earl Wayne Haddix
January 1, 1954 ~ December 5, 2020


Earl Wayne Haddix of Maysville was born on January 1, 1954 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Earl Francis Haddix and Marjorie Magdeline [Keith] Haddix. He passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years.

Earl was a lifetime resident of Maysville where he graduated from Maysville High School in 1972 and then obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in education from East Central University.

He worked on the assembly line at Westinghouse for many years.

Earl was dedicated to his family and he took great care of them. If there was ever anyone in need, he was there to fulfill what they needed.

He enjoyed gardening, visiting with his friends, and was a great handyman.

Earl was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maysville.

He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Marjorie Haddix; his only sibling, a sister Jo Francis Haddix; and a cousin Ron Darnell.

His survivors include several cousins: Andrea Darnell, Mike Keith and wife Rhayma, Joe Keith and wife Jean, Charles Darnell, Joe Darnell, Phil Darnell, Dana Darnell, Rodney and Sheila Keith.

Masks and social distancing well be in place at the cemetery.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Maysville Cemetery.

Burial will be under the direction of John W. Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK.
