September 25, 1925 ~ September 18, 1986


Tecumseh - Services for Arvol Boyd Chilcoat, 60, Wynnewood, were 2 pm Saturday at Cooper Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial was in Maysville Cemetery.

Mr Chilcoat died Thursday at his home. He was born September 25, 1925 in Seminole County to Arthur Boyd and Tennie May York Chilcoat.

He attended grade school in Maysville: entered the United States Army at age 18, served during World War II and the Korean Conflist. He was a reciepient of the Purple Heart. He worked at Pauls Valley State School following his retiremenr from the military and later was a grocery clerk in Sulphur.

He is survived by his mother, Tennie Mae Chilcoat, Tecumseh; two sisters, Mary Pauline Arden, Del City, and Martha Ann Sliger, Tecumseh; and two brothers, Thomas L. Chilcoat, Oklahoma City, and Paul Edward Chilcoat, Antlers.
