Paul C. Caldwell
April 30, 1928 ~ December 6, 1990


Funeral services for Paul C. Caldwell were held Tuesday, December 8, 1998 at the Maysville Assembly of God with Rev. Jim Gillum and Rev. Larry Heath officiating. Burial was in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.

Paul C. Caldwell was born April 30, 1928 at Ada, Oklahoma to Frank and Estelle Mitchell Caldwell and died Sunday, December 6, 1998 at his home south of Maysville. He was seventy years of age.

Mr. Caldwell had been a longtime resident of this area. He attended school at Elmore City and Hughes.

On January 21, 1947, he married Margaret Rawson at Gainesville, Texas.

During his lifetime he worked in the broomcorn fields, for Ray's Well Service and was a truck driver for Fields Pecan Pies until his health began to fail.

He was a member of the Maysville Assembly of God, and a devoted husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include: his wife of fifty-one years, Margaret of the home; seven children, Willie and Patti Caldwell of Oklahoma City, Harold Caldwell and Frank Caldwell, both of Kingston, Linda and Gary Voyles of Tuttle, Rita and Don Harmon of Chickasha, Peggy and Wade Sirmons of Plano, Texas, and Patricia and Doyle Thompson of Cox City, Oklahoma; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, James Caldwell of Ft. Worth, Texas; two sisters, Lucille Cowgar and May Skinner, both of Vernal, Utah.

He was preceded in death by: one son, Arthur Lee; two daughters, Leta Marie and Cheryl Ann; brothers, Calvin and R. J. Caldwell; and sisters, Rita Lentz and Elva Lee Gaines.
