Lewis Eddy "Ed" Brahic
March 19, 1937 ~ March 21, 2013


Lewis Eddy Brahic passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at his home south of Maysville at the age of 76 years. He was born on March 19, 1937 in Modesto, California to Lewis and LaReay [Greener] Brahic.

Ed was in the U. S. Navy for 4 years where he served his country in Japan during the Korean War.

He worked as a bookkeeper for Don's Mobile Glass in Manteca, California before retiring in 1998.

He and his wife, Ora moved to Maysville in 2006 from Modesto, California.

Ed enjoyed his family, bowling, fishing, gardening, guitar, and watching sports.

He was a member of the American Legion.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

His survivors include his wife Ora of the home. Sons: Lewis Duane Brahic and wife Karen of Modesto, California and Randall Lee Brahic and wife Patricia of Maysville. Step-sons: Perry Ward and wife Kathy of Davis; Lonnie Ward and wife, Ann of Denton, Texas; and Darryl Ward and wife Terry of Tuttle. Step-daughter, Laura McCurtain and husband Stanley of Maysville. Sisters: Janet Rose and husband Frank of Turlock, California and Carla Wyatt of Modesto, California. Grandchildren: Sean Brahic of Modesto, California; Brandi Brahic of Manteca, California; Tahlon, Tyler, and Teyhla Brahic all of Maysville. Great grandchildren: Kylie Brahic and Belinda Brahic both of Modesto, California.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Brahic and LaReay Chrisco.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Winans Funeral Home Chapel in Maysville, OK with Rev. Steve Spangler officiating.

Burial will be under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville, OK. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.winansfuneralhome.com
