© Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home Del City, Oklahoma August 2021 July 3, 1932 ~ August 29, 2021 Wanice Gayle Blevins Durham passed away on August 29, 2021 at the age of 89. She was born on July 3, 1932 in Alex, OK to Lonnie and Nora [Harwell] Norton. She grew up with four siblings. She married Donnie Joe Blevins on May 29, 1954, and together they had a son, Jon Don Blevins. Donnie passed away in March of 1992. She married Floyd Durham in November of 1994, and he had three daughters, Jan, Sherri, and Carol. Floyd passed away in August of 2008. Wanice worked at Southwestern Bell/AT&T for 40 + years in the department of services operators. She was a manager of the Information Department at the time of her retirement. She loved collecting glassware, nativity scenes, and Santa Clauses. She always looked forward to decorating at Christmas Time. She loved birdwatching, playing cards, shopping at Dillard's, and loved traveling. She loved pending time with her family and friends, and loved the Oklahoma Sooners. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Nora; husbands, Donnie and Floyd; and brothers, Eugene and Richard Norton. She is survived by her son, Joe Don Blevins [and wife Michelle]; grandchildren, Cady, Byrnes [and Husband Brenton] and Joshua Adams [and wife Rebecca]; great-grandchildren, Sage and Grayson Adams; siblings, Wayne Norton [and wife Judy and Christine Burns; her 3 bonus daughters from Floyd Durham; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Visitation for Wanice will be from 10 am-12pm Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home in Del City, OK. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maysville, OK for immediate family only.
