Patricia Ann [Yancy] Adams
February 5, 1947 ~ February 27, 2009


Patricia Ann [Yancy] Adams, 62, born February 5, 1947, at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Walter L. and Charlene Henson Yancy died Friday, February 27, 2009, at the Midwest City Regional Hospital.

Pat Adams grew up in Maysville, and after highschool she moved to the Oklahoma City area.

She married Jerry Adams of Maysville and was a homemaker and mother and started working for Wholesale Supply with Jerry in 1982. Later she worked with her sons with Adams Brothers Trucking in 2006, driving from Oklahoma City to California. Pat enjoyed her family and garage sales, cooking, especially making cakes for weddings and other special occasions, and fishing. She was a great care-giver and help to anyone that needed it.

Survivors: 2 sons, Kenny Adams and wife Twila of Oklahoma City, and Steve Adams of Oklahoma City 2 daughters, Letha Stowers and husband B.J. of Moore, and Stacy Kilcrease, also of Moore 3 brothers, Walter "Junior" Yancy of Odessa, Texas, Terry Yancy and wife Marsha of Oklahoma City, and Doc Yancy and wife Betty of Blanchard 1 sister, Janice Porter and husband Jim of Oklahoma City grandchildren, Marc Stowers, Marissa Stowers, Jerry Ray Stowers and Megan Stowers, Kodi Adams, Kolton Adams and Klayton Adams and by other relatives and friends of the family made throughout the years.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 4, at 2:00 pm at the Maysville Assembly of God, Rev. Billy Davenport officiating, with burial in the Maysville Cemetery under the direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville.

Thelder Clarence "T .C." Adams
April 22, 1947 ~ April 25, 2015


Thelder "T.C." Adams, age 68 of Maysville, passed away Saturday April 25, 2015 at his home.

Thelder Clarence Adams was born April 22, 1947 in Purcell, OK, to Clarence Byrum Adams and Arlie Belle [Gentry] Adams.

He was raised on the family farm boy and grew up in Story community. He attended the French and Story Country Schools, later graduating from Maysville high school in 1965.

T. C. married Mary Bunn, and together raised two children, John and Tammie.

He later married Bobbie Russell and together they raised a daughter, Heather.

T. C. worked most of his life as a farmer and also as a truck driver, however his love was always with the farm. T.C. learned how to work hard as a young man and continued that same work ethic throughout his life. He loved working with his hands and being outdoors, he liked tinkering on things around the farm and was a master mechanic.

But most of all his favorite job was that of a parent and grandparent. He loved his children and especially spoiling his grandchildren. He loved telling stories and sharing memories with his family and friends. He will be remembered for his great smile and his contagious laugh, and his ability to make others laugh. He will be dearly missed!

He was preceded in death by: Parents, Clarence and Arlie Belle Adams; Brothers, James "JD" Adams, Jerry Adams, "TA" Adams and Gentry Adams and Sisters, Wanda Adams and DrewAnna Dedmon.

TC leaves behind: His son, John Adams and wife Andrea of Woodbridge, VA; Daughters, Tammie Meave of Blanchard, Heather Burghart and husband Keith of Wright City, MO; The light of his life, his eight grandchildren, Caleb, Trent, Adam, Janay, Dalton, Ashlyn, Morgan and Rian one great granddaughter, Addison; Three sisters, Alta Bowerman of Maysville, Ann Idleman and husband Wes of Maysville, Mary Clagg and husband Larry of Blanchard; Many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Friday, May 1, 2015 at the Maysville Assembly of God Church in Maysville, OK. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
