© DeArman's Wynnewood Funeral Home Wynnewood, Oklahoma January 2023 1939 ~ January 27, 2023 Betty Ann Slaten, a resident of Roff, was born March 16, 1939 in Central City, Colorado to J. V. & Sarah Annis [Woody] Henry. She passed away on Friday January 27, 2023 in Sulphur, OK at the age of 83 yrs 10 months & 11 days. She moved to Enid, Ok at a early age. Betty attended school in Enid until her marriage. Betty was married to James A. Slaten on May 5, 1956 at Enid, OK. He preceded her in death February 7, 1995. During her marriage she lived in several areas, moving to Davis from Oklahoma City. Betty later returned to Enid where she lived until moving to Roff to be near her family. Betty enjoyed making quilts and dolls along with various other crafts. Betty was of the Baptist faith. Betty had lived the last year of her life at the Artesian Nursing Home where she made many friends with other residents, staff and hospice workers. Betty was also preceded in death by her parents, and 8 siblings: Lois, ODean, Nancy, Daisy. Ruthie, Junior, Paul and Bonnie.
