Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma December 2018 Terry Lynn Wright February 14, 1969 ~ December 16, 2018 On February 14, 1969 a handsome boy was born in Pauls Valley to Mary Wright and Billy Rushing. Terry grew up in Wynnewood. He accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church. He was the father of two children and he had seven grandchildren. Terry loved his family, friends and his dog, Littleman. Terry found the most joy while fishing, grilling and spending time with family and friends. Terry loved filleting and cooking fish. His famous quote, "the fish isn't done "til it floats to the top." Terry leaves to cherish precious memories of his life: his son, Terry Sanders and wife, Kaitlyn, of Pauls Valley and daughter Terrika Sanders of Wichita Falls, Texas; seven grandchildren; his mother, Mary Wright and dad, Billy Rushing both of Wynnewood; siblings, Tammy Goree and husband, Anetwyne, Tina Turner, Tyra Scott and husband, Kevin, Tonya Wright, all of Wynnewood; Tanza McNeil of Ada, Stacy Smith of Stigler, Tracy Smith of Oklahoma City, Lee Earnest Rushing of Muskogee, Victoria Rushing of Norcross, Georgia, Demieka Rushing of Shreveport, Louisiana, Norma, Alika, Bill and Fred all of Wynnewood; two aunts, Thelma Harkey of Phoenix, Arizona, Nadine Mack and husband, Earl; two uncles, John McNeil and Harlen Russell and wife, Patricia, all of Wynnewood; two great aunts, Janie Bell Smith of Oklahoma City and Mildred Smith of Wynnewood; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Sherry Wright. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Wynnewood, officiated by Rev. Victor Crawford. Interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. |
