May 2011 Bobby Gene "Buster" Studdard Apr 3, 1926 ~ May 12, 2011 B. G. "Buster" Studdard of Foster, Oklahoma was born to Frank and Nora [Hodges] Studdard on April 3, 1926 in Foster, Oklahoma and passed from this life on May 12, 2011 in Sulphur, Oklahoma at the age of 85 years. Buster grew up and attended school in Foster, Oklahoma. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during WW II. On January 20, 1953 he married Leuna Hudson in Gainsville, Texas. Together they made their home in Roswell, New Mexico for twenty years. In 1980 they moved to Foster, Oklahoma. Buster has farmed and ranched most of his life along with trucking. He was a member of the Foster Church of Christ. In his spare time he enjoyed riding horses and roping. Mr. Studdard is survived by: His wife: Lee Studdard of the home 1 sister: Opal Wiley of Roswell, New Mexico 1 grandchild and 3 great-grandchildren. Mr. Studdard was preceded in death by: Sons: Daryl Studdard and Sonny Studdard His parents: Frank and Nora Studdard 3 brothers: Rube, Buck and J. H. (Shorty) Studdard 1 sister: Ruby Giese. Services: 2:00PM at Elmore City Church of Christ on Monday, May 16th, 2011 |
