May 2021 Sharon Jean "Jeannie" [Woods] O'Neal Sep 22, 1951 ~ May 3, 2021 Sharon Jean "Jeannie" Woods O'Neal of Velma, Oklahoma was born September 22, 1951 to Jack and Madge Woods in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. She passed away at the age of 69 years at OU Medical Center. Jeannie was a member of Velma Baptist Church and the Ruth Class. She loved church and especially loved her Sunday School class. She enjoyed the ladies, the stories, and the laughter. Jeannie loved bright, flashy clothing. She had enough dresses to clothe every lady in Stephens County. Jeannie loved to cook, fish, and tell stories. She worked at Family Dollar Distribution Center in Duncan, Oklahoma. Her proudest achievements were her daughter, Kenna, and her granddaughter MaKenley. They were the light of her life. She told many stories about MaKenley. The girls brought her a lot of happiness and joy. She is survived by her daughter: Kenna Griffith and husband Robert of Velma, Oklahoma, Granddaughter: MaKenley Griffith of Velma, Oklahoma, Grandson: Braxton Griffith of Arpaler, Oklahoma, Sister: Barbara Woods of Velma, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled at the Velma Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Foster Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. |
