© Chickasha Express~Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Tuesday, September 26, 2006 August 13, 1936 ~ September 23, 2006 Cecil Brent Lane, age 70, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2006, at the Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on August 13, 1936 in the Lindsay area. He was the son of Cecil J. Lane and Ida Lucille Bridwell Lane. He married Jewel Lawanda Jensen in Lindsay, Oklahoma on March 10, 1956. Mr. Lane lived in Moore, Oklahoma for 42 years. He was a police officer in Lindsay, Purcell and Moore, Oklahoma as well as a business man. He was saved in the Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Mr. Lane is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Brenda Horn. He is survived by his wife: Jewel (Wanda) Lane; a son: Berry Lane of Moore, Oklahoma; a brother: Jerry Don Lane and wife Linda of Alex, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren: Jason, Joshua, Jacob, and Jeremy Horn all of Moore, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews and other familly members. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at the Erin Springs Baptist Church in Erin Springs, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in the Erin Springs Cemetery in Erin Springs, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Boydston Funeral Home in Lindsay, Oklahoma. Jerry Don Lane was born October 13, 1941 south of Erin Springs, Oklahoma the son of C.J. and Ida Lucille [Bridwell] Lane and died Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at his home. Jerry graduated from Bradley High School and lived in Grady County most of his life. He and Linda Watson were married December 19, 1970 in Alex, Oklahoma. Jerry farmed and ranched near Alex and worked for Delta for 20 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ninnekah. Jerry was preceded in death by: His parents; one brother: Cecil Brent Lane; Niece: Brenda Ann Horn. Survivors include: Wife: Linda Lane of the home; one son: Cecil Don Lane and wife Ann of Cement, OK; one daughter: Loretta Cravens and husband Lynn of Boswell, OK; Mother-in-law: Mary Gregg;Sister-in-law: Wanda Lane of Moore, OK; two sisters-in-law: Shirley Baker; Brenda Ramming; Nephew: Barry Lane of Moore; three granddaughters: Heather Grande of Cement; Debra Tate of Boswell; Crystal Tate of Boswell; Several cousins and several great-nephews. Interment will be in the Erin Springs Cemetery, Erin Springs, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |

Ann Schlehuber of Ninnekah, passed away on October 3, 2021 in Chickasha, Oklahoma at the age of 58. She was born on January 25, 1963 in Ft. Sill, Oklahoma to Brian & Ruth (Adamson) Schlehuber. She had lived many places including Cement, OK, before making Ninnekah her home where she has resided for many years. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents: Brian & Ruth (Adamson) Schlehuber and Brother in law: Ronald Schifflett. Survivors include: Her Husband Cecil Lane of the home.
