September 1962 Sam Marquard November 15, 1889 ~ September 4, 1962 Sam Marquard, 72, a long time resident of the Stratford area, died Tuesday at the Valley View Hospital in Ada. He was born Nov. 15, 1889 in Indian Territory. He moved to the Stratford area from Lone Wolf about 40 years ago. He was living south of Stratford at the time of death. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Stratford Church ofr Christ with Bob Page officiating, assisted by Cole Tidwell. Burial will be in the Corley Cemetery under the direcrion of the Stratford Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Delia; one daughter, Mrs. Lenia Martin of Fontana, Calif; two sons, John of Fontana and Bill of Stratford, and 11 grandchildren |
February 2985 Delia [Dulworth] Marquard November 22, 1892 ~ February 4, 1985 Delia Marquard, 92, of Stratford, died at Pauls Valley General Hospital, Monday, Feb. 4. She was born Nov. 22, 1892 in Kentucky. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 2 p.m. at the Pickard Funeral Home Chapel, with Bill Jones officiating. Interment will be at the Corley Cemetery under the direction of Pickard Funeral Home. Marquard was a long-time resident of Stratford. She was married to Sam Marquard in 1910 and he preceeded her in death. Survivors include: Onje son, John McCord of Fontana, Calif.; One Daughter, Lena Mae Martin of Fontana, Calif.; one sister, Julie Hottell of Dais' nine grandchidren; 19 great-grandchildren' and six great-great-grandchildren. |
