November 2002 Jimmy Clifton Lemmings October 4, 1941 ~ November 21, 2002 Services for Jimmy Clifton Lemmings, 61, Stratford, are 2 p.m. Saturday at Master's House of Stratford, the Rev. Aubrey Miller officiating. Burial follows at Corley Cemetery. Mr. Lemmings died Nov. 21, 2002, at Ada. He was born Oct 4, 1941, at Roff to Clifford Alvie Lemmings and Gladys Smith. He was raised in Sulphur and relocated to Stratford at the age of 15. He married Barbara Hurley Lemings March 17, 1969, at Grainesville, Texas. Mr. Lemmings worked in the oilfield and was a veteran of the Army. He is preceded in death by his step-son Tommy. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Lemmings, of the home; three sons, Carl Lemmings, Roff, Jimmy Don Lemmings and Jody Lemmings, both of Stratford; his mother, Gladys Smith, Sulphur; a brother, Bobby Smith, Sulphur; two sisters, Crystal Bock and Wanda Dilbeck, both of Sulphur; two grandchildren. Bearers are Curtis Dilbeck, Wayne Morris, Jerry Wyche, Jeff Richardson, Jackie Biggs, David Taylor and Ernie Eldred. |
