October 2, 2010 July 13th, 1959 - October 2, 2010 Bridget Bruner made her first human public appearance on earth, July 13, 1959 in Wynnewood, OK to her parents Margie Pearl Shepard and Purman Taylor. Beginning Life's Journey; Bridget was raised most of her young life in the Pauls Valley area. At an early age she confessed her belief in Christ, and united and fellowshipped with Bethlehem Baptist Church. Bridget rededicated her life and made a total commitment to Christ in 2008 under guidance and leadership of Pastor Richard Gaines in Norman, OK. As her life's journey continued, she made her home with her three children and her husband, in Norman, OK. She worked in the Cleveland County work force in the healthcare field as a Home Healthcare Provider, as well as the Norman Regional Hospital, until her declining health prevented her from being in the work force. Bridget attended the Pauls Valley school system, graduating from Pauls Valley High in 1977, and began attending East Central University. Ending Life's Journey; Bridget departed this life on Saturday October 2, 2010 in Norman, OK. Leaving to cherish loving memories: Her Husband: Paul Bruner of Norman, OK; Sons: Brian Keith Taylor, and Vernon Ellis Hooks of Norman, OK; Daughter: Chemere Marie Taylor; Sisters: Minnie Pearl Stevenson, Maxine Buckner, Jean Buckner of Pauls Valley, OK, Terri Martin and Gwen Lewis of Norman, OK, and Donna Whitlow of Tishomingo, OK; Uncle: Ernest Taylor; Aunts: Norma Jean Evans, Arnita Strong, Betty Broussard, Mary Jo Brown; A special Aunt Dorothy Bradley; Grandchildren: Corey Tipsword, Alexis Taylor, Brianna Tipsword, Lalia Taylor; Mother and Father in Law: Paul Sr. and Maealla Bruner of Muskogee, OK; As well as many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Bridget is preceded by: Parents: Margie Pearl Shephard and Purman Taylor; Son: Timothy Taylor.
