Sherman, Texas December 2021 June 28, 1948 ~ December 4, 2021 Bobbie Jane Sides of Wynnewood, OK was born to Wesley Robert and Ruby Lois Moring Jordan on June 28,1948 in Pauls Valley, OK and entered eternal life on Saturday, December 4,2021 in Sherman, Texas. Bobbie Jane grew up in Pauls Valley and Maysville and graduated from Pauls Valley High School. Bobbie Jane married her sweetheart Bill Sides on September 8, 1967 at the First Baptist Church in Pauls Valley. She attended Murray State College where she received her Associates Degree. She was later employed in Stillwater. OK as secretary for the Assistant State Director of Vo technical Education. Bobbie Jane was a member of the Oklahoma Home and Community Education Association, Army Wives Association, and worked at the Garvin County Election Board for 8 years. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed sewing, gardening, and quilting. The highlights of her life were being her husband's "military wife", time with her grandchildren and her poodle dogs. Bobbie Jane was good at everything she attempted to do and was fiercely independent. In her years of being a military wife before Bill's retirement she had total responsibility of moving the family 17 times in 25 years. She loved Jesus and taught her family to love him as well. It goes without saying that Bill's successful career in the military could not have been possible without Bobbie Jane. Services to give thanks for and celebrate the life of Bobbie Jane Sides are at the First Baptist Church of Elmore City with Pastor Danny Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent to the family @www.woosterfuneralhome.com. |
