Norman, Oklahoma August 2017 February 19, 1945 ~ August 5, 2017 Clarence L. "Coon" Russell of Elmore City, Oklahoma was born to Clarence L. and Veda Lucille [Simmons] Russell on February 19, 1945 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and passed from this life on August 5, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 72 years. Coon grew up and attended school at Parks and Elmore City. He worked in all aspects of the oil field for many years. On June 4, 1967, Coon married Florence Evelyn Fowler in Antioch, Oklahoma. In his spare time he enjoyed raising chickens, fishing, and gardening. Coon loved to collect antiques and build things. He especially loved to aggravate anyone he could and would always help anyone in need. Mr. Russell was preceded in death by: His parents: C. L. and Veda Russell, Father-in-law and mother-in-law: Hershell and Delta Mae Fowler, Brothers: Joe Kenneth Russell and Billy Don Russell, Brother-in-law: Jerry McWhirter, Sisters: Barbara Clark and Geraldine Russel. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, August 11, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. View Full Gospel with Bro. Ron Martin officiating. Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home |
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma January 2018 January 19, 2018 ~ January 20, 2018 Kylyn Dywanne Russell, infant son of Clayton Lee and Samantha Dawn [Benson] Russell of Elmore City, was born on September 19, 2018 and passed from this life on September 20, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kylyn is survived by: His parents: Clayton and Samantha Russell of the home, Brothers: Isacc James Boehl and Cole Lee Russell of Elmore City, Oklahoma, Grandparents: Donald “Duck” Benson, Thresea Benson, Dennis and Cindy Russell, Pamela Marie Hudson, Great-grandparents: Rocky Southerland, Janie Southerland, Gary and Robin Benson, Evelyn Russell. A host of aunts, uncles, and cousins Kylyn was preceded in death by: Grandmother: April Dawn Benson, Great-Grandfather, Clarence [Coon] Russell , Great-great-grandmother: Delta Mae Fowler. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 24, 2018 at the Mt. View Full Gospel Church with Bro. Clyde Quick officiating. Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery |
