Jesse Utah Reeves
November 7, 1927 ~ June 4, 2016


Jesse Utah Reeves of Maysville, Oklahoma went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at his home after a brief illness at the age of 88 years. Jesse was born November 7, 1927 in Antioch, Oklahoma to Claud and Wille [Richardson] Reeves.

Jesse married Lou Reeves July 8, 1950 in Clayton, New Mexico. Three children were born into this union, Steven DeWayne, Susan Elaine, and Michael Utah.

He was a lifetime resident of the Maysville area.

Jesse worked many years in the oilfield until retiring in 1990. He then worked for Burford Corporation as a night watchman, a delivery driver for O’Reilly Auto Parts, and a driver for Seth Wadley Ford.

He enjoyed spending time with his family and his coffee shop buddies, watching Westerns on television, and keeping his yard manicured.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7th, 2016 at 10:00 am at Wooster Funeral Home Chapel in Pauls Valley, OK, with Rev. Brent Morey officiating.

Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery, in Antioch,OK under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home.
