Maysville, Oklahoma April 2017 August 30, 1948 ~ April 3, 2017 He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Sue [Bond] Hines, his wife Naomi Carol [Quinn] Hines and brothers Fred Hines and Richard Hines. He is survived by one daughter, two sons, one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, sixteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one sister, seven brothers, one brother-in-law, four sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 6 2017 at 2:00 pm at Maysville Assembly of God Church. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery. |
Sulphur, Oklahoma December 2019 January 9, 1979 ~ December 10, 2019 Joshua Ray Hines of Elmore City formerly of Lindsay was born on January 9, 1979 in Chickasha, Oklahoma to Bob R. and Alice [Smart] Hines. He passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in Sulphur at the age of 40 years. Josh attended Lindsay Schools and then completed his GED and CLEET Training. He worked in law enforcement as a deputy sheriff in Pauls Valley and became the chief of police in Elmore City. He loved to fish, hunt, and collect guns. Josh will be dearly missed by his family. Those left to cherish his memory include: his parents, Bob and Alice Hines of Lindsay. Children: Thomas T. Hines of Illinois, Mathias L. Hines and Allyson R. Hines of Noble, Bobby J. Hines of Elmore City, Preston Luster and Serenity West of Elmore City. Siblings: Bobby Jo Hines and wife Elaine of Maysville; Martin Lee Hines and wife Marsha of Lindsay; and Dovie Sue Hines-Bakewell and husband Daniel of Lindsay. Numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces. Josh was preceded in death by an infant son, Joshua Ray Hines, Jr. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, December 12, 2019 at the Antioch Cemetery with Bro. Danny Daniels officiating.
