© Stufflebean~Coffey Funeral Home Pauls Valley, Oklahoma March 30, 2011 August 21, 1944 ~ March 30, 2011 Christine "McCurley" Hays, of Pauls Valley was born August 21, 1944 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Lee and Winifred McGregor McCurley. She passed from this life on March 30, 2011 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma at the age of 66 years. Christine spent most of her life in the Pauls Valley area. She raised four children as a single mother then put herself thru school to become an X-Ray and Ultra Sound Technician. After school she dedicated 29 years to the Pauls Valley General Hospital. Christine was married to Donald Ray Hays on February 8, 1988 and made their home in Pauls Valley. Christine's life was her children and grandchildren. Everything she did was to make sure her family had a good life. She and Don loved to travel, camp and fish. They always made sure the grandkids got to experience those activities with them. They also traveled with Hubert & Shirley Couch and had many adventurous expeditions. Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Don; her parents; one sister, Charlotte Lytle; one grandson, Gracen and a brother-in-law, Hubert Couch.. Survived by her sons, Billy and wife Mary Jones, of Tecumseh; Jimmy and wife Vida Jones, of Pauls Valley; Ronnie and wife Cheryl Jones, of Ardmore; daughter, Tina and husband Jim Cottrell, of Wynnewood; sister, Shirley Couch, of Pauls Valley; brothers, Truman and wife Barbara McCurley, and Burnie McCurley, 25 grandchildren, Josh & wife Janis Cottrell, Brittany, Kelci, Laci and J. C. Cottrell, Jeremy and Crystal Fangman, Bryan Nichols, Amber, Kristen Jones, Shannon & Tony Hardin, Zach & Lindsey Jones, Kari & Anthony Gaffney, Chad & Courtney Jones, Jessica Jones, Alicia Coxsey, Crysten & Michael Lambeth and Gary Presley; 17 great grandchildren, Madasyn, Bradyn, Konnor, Westyn, Hayden, Brylie, Ashton, Jace, Petra, Aaron, Raelei, Donavon, Mike, Messena, Gracie, Mikenzie and Mykayla; and a host of nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Stufflebean Chapel of Remembrance officiated by Pastor Ronnie Beaty. Interment will be at Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.. |
Pauls Valley, Oklahoma January 15, 2011 December 6, 1946 ~ January 15, 2011 Donald Ray Hays of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma was born to Ted Hays and Eva [Huckabaa] Hays on December 6, 1946 in Wynnewood, Oklahoma and passed from this life on January 15, 2011 in Pauls Valley at the age of 64. When Donald was just 8 years old he started farming with his dad until he later had a family of his own. In his early 20's he owned and ran a service station until he became a welder and later on a truck driver. Donald loved to drive tractors, 4 wheelers, and go camping. He was also a member of Grace Baptist Church. To Donald life was about giving and love and everyone should love each other at all times. Mr. Hays is survived by: Wife: Christine Hays of the home; Son: Donald Joe Hays of Oklahoma City; Stepsons: Bill Jones and wife Mary of Tecumseh, OK, Jim Jones and wife Vida of Pauls Valley, OK, and Ronald Jones and wife Cheryl of Ardomre, OK; Daughters: Linda Hays of Oklahoma City, OK and Donna Kirk and husband Steven of Davis, OK; Stepdaugher: Tina Cottrell and husband Jim of Wynnewood, OK; Brother: Larry Hays and wife Betty of Wynnewood, OK; Sisters: Doris and Douglas Campbell of Houston, TX and Joyce and the late Danny Davis of Elmore City, OK; 17 Grandchildren: Dakota Kirk, Shelbie Kirk, Jonathan Kirk, and Zakery Kirk, Kelci Cottrell, Laci Cottrell, Brittany Cottrell, J.C. Cottrell, Josh Cottrell and wife Janis of Wynnewood, OK, Kristen and Brandon Cox of Shawnee, OK, Shannon and husband Tony of Tecumseh, OK, Zack and Lindsey Jones of Ardmore, OK, Kari and Anthony Gafney of Ardmore, OK, Chad Jones and wife Courtney of Pauls Valley, Jessica Jones of Pauls Valley, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Hays was preceeded in death by: Parents : Ted Hays and Eva [Huckabaa] Hays; Sister: Mary Hays; Nephew: Eric Campbell. Funeral services for Mr. Hays are scheduled for Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley, OK with Ronnie Beaty officiating.
