Buddy Lee Harbison
September 1951 ~ August 27, 2021

Buddy Lee Harbison of Antioch, OK was born to Cecil and Ruby [Robbins] Harbison in Caney, OK on September 29, 1951 and entered eternal life on August 27, 2021 at the age of 69 years.

Buddy grew up in the Antioch community and attended Elmore City schools.

He enlisted in the U. S. Army and graduated high school in Germany.

Buddy and his wife Donna celebrated 47 years on May 12th of this year.

\After serving in the U.S. Army he spent the remainder of his life working in the oil fields and spent over 30 years as the owner/operator of his own truck. Buddy was a handyman and could fix anything. He always showed up to help others fix things when his expertise was needed. Buddy believed and taught his children that to survive, you must learn more than one occupation.

While Buddy was out joy riding with his son, other family members and friends in 2010, he had a motorcycle accident which forced Buddy into early retirement.

Buddy was an avid hunter and enjoyed fishing. Buddy even "reloaded" his own ammunition. His most relaxing hobby was just sitting and watching his cattle.

He taught his children the value of a strong work ethic and worked hard to feed his family. The most important life lesson Buddy would have others take from him was "take care of the ones you love!”

Those who remain to cherish memories of Buddy: His wife – Donna Harbison, His children – Christy Townley and husband Randy; Shannon Lee Harbison and wife Jesika; April Idleman and husband Nick; His brother – Bobby Harbison and wife Charlene, His sisters – Joyce Harbison Dial and husband Charles; Betty Harbison Harris and husband Charles, Special grandchildren – Jessi and husband Colton, Hannah, Skye and fiancée Michael, Randi, Cloey, Ashtyn, Kylie, Mason, and Addy; His special great-grandchildren – Kaysen, Landree, Beaux, Rylee, Arabella, and Parker.

Buddy is preceded in death by his parents Cecil & Ruby Harbison and brother Jimmy Harbison.

A service to give thanks and celebrate the life of Buddy Harbison is scheduled at the Abundant Love Church in Maysville.

Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Wooster Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered to the family at www.woosterfuneralhomes.com.
