He married Julia Ann Clementine Strange in Jefferson County, Tennessee on August 13, 1879. They moved to Collin County, Texas, about 1895, and moved on to Chickasaw Nation about 1899. Family information reports that both Dock and his wife Julia Ann, as well as their oldest son William, were buried in the Antioch, Oklahoma, Cemetery. But their names do not appear on burial lists there. |
May 27, 2016 January 21, 1855 ~ May 29, 1935 Julia Ann was the daughter of William B. Strange and Mary Ann Hance. She was born in Jefferson County, Tennessee, and was married there to Dock Patrick Gregory on August 13, 1879. Julia and Dock moved to McKinney, Texas about 1894 or 1895. Then they moved on to Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory about 1898 or 1899. They were enumerated in the 1900 census of Chickasaw Nation. After living near Marlow for a few years, they moved about 1915 or so to Antioch, near Elmore City in Garvin County, Oklahoma, where they lived for the rest of their lives. Family information reports that Dock, Julia Ann and their oldest son William were buried in the Antioch Cemetery. But their names do not appear on burial lists there. |
May 27, 2016 May 11, 1880 ~ November 18, 1931 William H. H. Gregory was the first child of Dock Patrick Gregory and wife Julia Ann Clementine Strange. In the 1880 census he was 1 months old, reported born in May 1880. His full birthday, from family information, is May 11, 1880. The family was living in Jefferson County, Tennessee, at the time of William's birth. They later moved to McKinney, Texas, then on to Chickasaw Nation. He went by Harrison. Family information reports Harrison and his parents were buried in the Antioch, Oklahoma, Cemetery. But they never had stones put up. Their names do not appear on burial lists there. |
