Maysville, Oklahoma November 2013 June 17, 1944 ~ November 19, 2013 Charles “Chuck” Eugene Crosslin was born on June 17, 1944 in Purcell, OK to Arvel Thomas Crosslin and Ruby Marie [Blair] Crosslin. and passed away at the age of 69 years on Tuesday afternoon, November 19, 2013 at his home in Maysville following a 13 year battle with cancer. Chuck grew up in the Wayne/Purcell area, graduating from Wayne High School in 1962. On October 3, 1963 he married Wanda Sue Rausch and they have made their home in Maysville for 50 years. He always worked in the Maysville area and retired from Garvin County District I. Chuck could usually be found each morning visiting friends at the local coffee shop. He was a loving husband, dad and pop whose life centered around home and family. He enjoyed softball and football, especially when his children or grandchildren were playing. He loved to noodle, deer hunt, and hunt hogs. Chuck was saved by Jesus as a young man and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maysville. He said that many prayers and lots of love saw him through several years of cancer, but his body finally got so tired he was called home. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. His survivors include his wife of 50 years, Wanda of the home. Son, Kevin and Char of Pauls Valley. A daughter, Carla and Eddie of Moore. His father, Arvel Crosslin of Maysville. Brothers: Tommy and Peggy of Maysville; Kenneth and Pat of Purcell; and Dale and Linda of Wayne. Grandchildren: Nashea and Joe of Ada; Kara of Wynnewood; and Garrett of Wynnewood. Brother-in-law, Earl of Maysville. Sister-in-law, Alma and Othel of Maysville. Very special friends, Moe, Twana, Marissa, and Abby McHugh of Maysville. Chuck was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Crosslin; niece Kelly Sims; and sister-in-law June Rausch. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, November 22, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Maysville with Bro. Tim Carr officiating.
