Zion Lutheran Cemetery


The funeral for Esther Marie Charlotte Nobis Loesch, 91, of Fairmont, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2009, at Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont. The Rev. Timothy Dorsch will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Fairmont. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
She was born Feb. 19, 1918, to Henry John and Carolena Marie Wyssmann Nobis and died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009, at her home.
She grew up in Fairmont and attended Zion Lutheran School.

She married Glenn Robert Loesch Nov. 23, 1941. They made their home near Fairmont. She was a homemaker and farmer's wife. She was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, Fairmont, where she was in the choir, Ladies Aid and Ladies Aid Quilters.

She is survived by two sons, Ted Loesch and David Loesch, both of Fairmont; four daughters, Merilyn Thielke of Enid, Margie Huntington of Edmond, Sandra Loesch of Fairmont and Glenda Tobiason of Enid; two brothers, Raymond Nobis of Waukomis and Donald Nobis of Enid; one sister, Arlene Zum Mallen of Okarche; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; five brothers, Elmer, Marvin, Harold, Roland and Leonard Nobis; one sister, Berniece Fischaber; and two grandchildren.
