Near Fairmont
Funeral services for Mr. Gus Hildebrand, Garfield county pioneer who passed away at his home in Fairmont Thursday evening, were held Sunday afternoon from the Schaeffer funeral home in Enid, and the remains were interred in the Fairmont cemetery. Rev. Hy Mueller, pastor of the Fairmont Lutheran church, conducted the services. Mr. Hildebrand had lived in different parts of Garfield county a good many years and had lived in Fairmont one year. Death came as a blessed relief from an illness of long duration. He is survived by his widow and seven children as follows: four sons, Henry, Duane, Richard and Charles and three daughters, Ruby, Dorothy, and Bernice.
