The funeral for Daisy Leona Wehling Dierksen, 88, of Lahoma, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Zion Lutheran Church of Lahoma. The Rev. Eric Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Lahoma. Arrangements are by Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
She was born Jan. 30, 1919, north of Hennessey to August and Carrie Hawk Wehling and died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007.
She attended school in Hennessey and Enid.
She married Harvey Dierksen Nov. 3, 1946, in Lahoma. They made their home northeast of Ames. He died March 28, 2004.
She was a member of Ladies Aid, LWML of Zion Lutheran Church, Lahoma Economy Club and taught Sunday school for 28 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Patty Gilson of Plano, Texas, and Jolene Stevens of Broken Arrow; one sister, Evelyn Kelley of Derby, Kan.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Harvey, she was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Zion Lutheran Church.
