June Evelyn Vaughan
June 7, 1917 ~ March 15, 2013
June Vaughan, age 95 of Yukon, passed away Friday March 15, 2013 in Yukon. She was born June 7, 1917 in Capulin, NM and was raised and graduated from high school in Hunter, OK.
She married Ward Vaughan and they spent their early married life in Hunter where they raised their family.
In the late 60's they moved to the OKC area and then to Yukon 25 years ago.
June had been a very active Avon Lady, winning numerous awards. She was also a member of the Christian Church in Hunter.
Survivors include her husband Ward of Yukon, son Glenn of OKC, daughters Sonia Worrell of Yukon and June Alice Vaughan of Houston, grandson Bradley Vaughan and great grandchildren Jack and Whitley Vaughan.
A graveside service will be held Monday March 18 at 2 PM in the White Cemetery in Hunter.
