Celebration of life service for Steve Kirk, 56 of Enid, will be 10:00 AM, Friday, March 29, 2019, at Emmanuel Enid, with burial to follow in White Cemetery at Hunter. Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday 5:30-7:00 PM at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home.
Steve was born October 5, 1962, in Cushing, OK. to Richard and Norma (Rogers) Kirk, and passed away, Monday, March 25, 2019 in Enid, after a long hard battle with scleroderma.
He graduated from Enid High School in 1980. On June 28, 1986 Steve married Darla Vencl in Enid where they made their home. Steve enjoyed golf, softball, and watching any kind of sporting activity. He helped coach several of his daughters sports teams. Besides being Poppa, being Coach Steve was one of his favorite things.
In addition to his wife Darla, Steve is survived by; two daughters, Makenzie and Joe Thomas of Oklahoma City and Cameron and Jordan Wilson of Tulsa, three brothers, Ed Kirk of Enid, Darrel and Sandy Kirk of Bixby, and Buster and Charlie Kirk of Enid, four sisters, Susan Kirk of Enid, Chris and Bill Anderson, Gloria and Brad Choat, and Evelyn and Fred Jones, and a granddaughter, Logan Marie Ann Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step father Oliver and Norma Rikli and sister in law Tina Kirk.
