The Graveside service for Benjamin Jackson 77, Enid, will be held privately in the Hunter cemetery. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy. Services are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
Benjamin was born September 9th 1934 in Hunter Oklahoma to William and Minnie Matilda Jackson and died March 1st 2012 in Enid. He was raised and educated in Hunter graduating from Hunter High School.
He joined the United States Navy and served proudly four years, stationed in San Diego Ca. After his honorable discharge he returned to the Enid area worked in farming for many years.
He is Survived by Brother William Jesse Jr. of Tulsa; two Nieces Tammy and husband Ronald O'Neal, of Enid and Joyce Presley of Tulsa; Great nieces Kourtney and Candance O'Neal of Enid; Son Benjamin of Colorado; Daughters Georgeann and Tammy also of Colorado.
He is preceded in death by Mother, Father, Stepmother Mable Alice, two Sisters Clara Mae and Rosa bell.
Memorials in his name may be made to the Hunter Christian Church with Brown-Cummings Funeral Home as custodian of the funds.
