White Cemetery


May 26, 1910 - October 28, 1985

Alma Grantz, 75, of Hunter, died Monday, October 28, 1985 at an Enid nursing home. Services will be 2 PM Friday at the Baptist Church in Hunter with the Rev. Carlos Berry officiating. Burial will be at the White Cemetery near Hunter under direction of Ladusau – Evans Funeral Home.

Mrs. Grantz was born May 26, 1910, to W. C. and Malinda McCullough and in February 1932, married Sam Grantz. The couple made their home in the Hunter area. He died March 25, 1984. She was a member of the Hunter Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. George (Jean) Carr, Enid; a son, Joe, Enid; three sisters, Mrs. E. H. (Wanda) Miller, Mrs. George (Winnifred) Cameron and Mrs. Paul A. (Mary) Jones, all of Enid; seven brothers, Marle, Andrew, Walter and Ivan McCullough, all of Enid, Howard McCullough, Siloam Springs, Arkansas, Robert McCullough, Sinbar, Washington, and Donald McCullough, Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren, and a great grandson.

Besides her husband, Sam, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Memorials in her name may be made to Hospice with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
