WAUKOMIS BOY DEAD
Ray West, of Waukomis, one of the Garfield County boys who was om the troop train wreck in September, died at Camp Logan, Texas, Saturday morning of complications resulting from an attack of influenza. Two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Setchelle and Miss Opal West, and a brother, Edmond West, of Waukomis were with him at the time of his death, which came after an illness of six weeks. The body will be brought to Waukomis the first of the week and funeral arrangements will be made later.

RAY WEST FUNERAL
O. W. York and the S.A.T.C. boys who attended the Ray West funeral at Waukomis Tuesday, returned to Enid Tuesday afternoon. They were accompanied by Pvt. Ray Caton, who brought the body up from the training camp. He will return to Camp Logan Thursday.
The following verse was written by a friend of Ray West, who died in training camp of pneumonia.
"Sleep on dear Ray,
in perfect peace
While friends in
Sorrow o'er thee weep."
