OBITUARY
Elba Clark Ward was born December 28, 1919 on a farm East of Waukomis in Garfield Co. and passed away at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elda Ward of Bison, Jan. 29, 1940 at the age of 20 years one month and one day.
His boyhood was spent entirely in Garfield Co.. He attended school in the White school district, Bison public school and Waukomis high school graduating in 1939.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elda Ward of Bison; four brothers, Randle, Vernon, Gale, and Ray all of the home; three sisters, Mrs. Earl Shelby of Manhatten, Kan.; Greta and Pansy of the home.
