Waukomis – Rudolph Taborsky, 92, died in an Enid hospital Friday evening after a long illness.

Wake services will be at 7 PM Sunday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bison.

Funeral mass will be at 10 AM Monday, also in the church with Rev. Jerome G. Pallon officiating. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery under direction of Cordry and Son Funeral Home, Hennessey.

He was born in Czechoslovakia March 10, 1888. He came to the United States at an early age with his parents who settled in Nebraska. At the age of 12 he moved to the Waukomis community where he farmed until 1973 when he moved to Waukomis.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bison.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Joe (Agnes) Linhart, Enid; one son, Thomas Taborsky, Waukomis; five grandchildren; 13 great – grandchildren and three great – great – grandchildren; three sisters, Millie Milacek, Bessie Milacek and Agnes Fuksa, all of Enid.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made in his name to the Center of Family Love in Okarche with the funeral home as fund custodian.
