Fenton "Leroy" Talbott, Jr.

Fenton "Leroy" Talbott, Jr, of Cleveland, OK, passed from this life on September 24, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was 58 years of age. Leroy was born July 3, 1966, at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida to Fenton Leroy and Janey Lou (Ramsey) Talbott.
The family later moved to Cleveland where Leroy was raised and received his education. He graduated with the class of 1985. Following high school, Leroy moved to Stillwater, OK where he worked in several different occupations. Being a man of many talents, he worked in the service industry, drove trucks and was primarily a heavy equipment operator. During each of his employment opportunities he made many life-long friends. Taking special interest in those around him, especially his family was always a priority. Leroy was a person who put others First, he enjoyed laughing, making jokes and was always willing to help others in need.
Eventually returning to Cleveland he was employed by Schlumberger Oilfield Services at the time of his death. Leroy enjoyed hunting, and watching his beloved OSU and Dallas Cowboys, but his greatest enjoyment came from being with family, especially his grandchildren and great nieces and nephews. Those that survive and hold many cherished memories include his partner - Adina Jahnke; children - Fenton L. Talbott, III (Trey) and his son Cole of Oklahoma City, OK; Jordan Jahnke and wife Ashlee and their children Colt, Roxy and Wade of Claremore, OK; as well as a sister Dianna Ross and her husband Daryl of Stillwater, OK.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters Lesa Wisely, Teresa Morton and Crystal Talbott. At Leroy's request, cremation will take place with is ashes buried at the Waukomis Cemetery, Waukomis, OK.
