October 10, 1907 - November 16, 1918
Philo Frank, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Suenram, was born Oct. 10, 1907, near Waukomis, and departed this life Nov. 16, 1918, in University hospital at Enid, reaching the age of 11 years, one month and six days. He was baptized in infancy by Rev. A. Hoch of the Evangelical church.
He began to complain last Friday of a hurt in the intestines and was operated on, Tuesday, Nov. 12, which caused his departure.
He was a scholar in the M.E. Sunday school and was always glad to go and receive instructions, and read his Sunday school paper with great delight.
Philo had a record; that he was a good, faithful boy and willing to work and obeying his parents. He often repeated the name of Jesus in a child-like prayer in the midst of his suffering.
He leaves to mourn his so early departure, his parents, a brother Elgin, and sister, Mable, besides many other relatives and friends. He was liked by his play and schoolmates especially.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at the M.E. church, Rev. Mayer officiating, and interment in the Waukomis cemetery.
