The funeral service for Georgia Fay Smith will be 10:00AM Monday, July 17, 2017 at Henninger~Hinson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Waukomis Cemetery. A visitation with family will be 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. today, July 16, 2017 at the funeral home.
Georgia was born September 1, 1930 in Anadarko, OK to Floyd and Ruby (Goodwin) Post and passed away on July 14, 2017. Georgia was a dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a member of Evangelistic Assembly of God and was the song leader at Brookdale Assisted Living. Georgia enjoyed singing and baking but most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family.
Georgia is survived by sons, Dean Smith and wife, Jeannie; Don Letourneau; daughters, Karen Tiessen and husband, Chuck; Renee Fuksa and husband, Landis and Merri Smith, all of Enid. Brothers, Gerald Post and wife, Judy of Enid; Ivy Post and wife, Barbara of Seattle, WA; sisters, Lisa Post of CA; Juanita Bradford and step-mother, Lucille Post both of San Antonio, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jud Smith; son, Val Smith; daughters, Joyce Letourneau, Denice Smith and grandson, Donny Letourneau.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the Alzheimer's Association.
