Waukomis Cemetery


Services Monday for Mrs. Albert Smith

Funeral services were held at the Waukomis Methodist Church on Monday for Mrs. Albert Smith, aged 23 years, who died Sat. evening in an Enid hospital , where she had been a patient for six weeks.

Mrs Smith was the former Miss. Ruth Daugherty of Waukomis and had graduated three years ago from nurses training at the Enid General Hospital. She had been critically ill since Feb. 7, following the birth of a daughter, who died at the age of four days.
Survivors include her husband, Albert Smith of the home, northeast of Waukomis; her parents, Mr. & Mrs. F. M. Daughtery of Waukomis ; two sisters, Mrs. Muriel Bellar of Enid; and Miss Idell Daugherty of Waukomis.

The Rev. Roy Pfaff, pastor of the Waukomis Methodist Church, was in charge of the service, with burial being made in the Waukomis Cemetery,with Brown Funeral Home in charge.
