A graveside service for Darlene Evelyn Pickett, 86, formerly of Enid, will be 1:30 p.m. Friday in Waukomis Cemetery. Arrangements are by Henn-inger-Allen Funeral Home. The Rev. Ray Rose will officiate.
She was born March 5, 1920, in Enid, to Richard E. Bush and Iola Morrow Bush and died Monday, May 1, 2006, in Broken Arrow.
She attended local schools, graduating from Enid High School in 1938.
She married Herbert L. Pickett March 7, 1942, in Enid. He served in the Air Force and they lived all over the country. Following his retirement, they lived in Colorado, Arkansas and finally in Broken Arrow. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Herbert, of the home; her sons, Herb and Brian; a sister, Rosella; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Heart Association or Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Alzheimer’s division.
