Waukomis Cemetery


August 4, 1954 - July 5, 1984

The wake service for Edwin M. Milacek, 29, Waukomis, who died Thursday, July 5, 1984, in a local hospital after a short illness, will be at 7:30 PM Sunday in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 AM Monday in St. Francis Xavier Roman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Paul H. Gallatin officiating. Burial will be in the Waukomis Cemetery under the direction of Brown's.

Milacek was born in Enid to William A. and Beatrice Milacek, and grew up in the Waukomis area, graduating from Pioneer – Pleasant Vale high school in 1972. He attended Northern Oklahoma College at Tonkawa for one year, then later graduated from Phillips University with a degree in business.

He has been farming in the Waukomis area. Milacek was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Church.

Survivors include: his mother, Beatrice; two brothers, William and Daniel; and two sisters, Desdive and Vanessa, all of Waukomis. He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorials in his memory may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
