Waukomis Cemetery


The funeral for Caroline Milacek, 85, of Hennessey, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth E. Wade will officiate. Burial will be in Waukomis Cemetery.

She was born April 13, 1922, on the family farm near Marshall to Anton and Carrie Pacula Simunek and died Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007, at Hennessey Care Center.

She married Ernest A. Milacek Feb. 10, 1942, in Bison. They lived north of Bison for 50 years, later moving to Waukomis. She was a member of No. 1 Oklahoma Polka Club.

Surviving are one daughter, Betty Roberts of Bison; one brother, Frank Milacek of Marshall; and one granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest, and one brother.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to No. 1 Oklahoma Polka Club or Ross Health Care Hospice.
